Diagnose check engine light found stored code p0011 and p0021 for 4 valve timing over Advanced or timing correlation for the variable valve timing system. Barrel valve timing systems on these newer Vehicles all controlled by oil and oil pressure.
The first thing you’re going to do is inspect your oil condition and oil level. In order for the valve valve timing system to work properly oil needs to be full and clean. 5900 oil on the dipstick of this vehicle causing p0011 and p0021 for codes to set.

Diagnosing a check engine light on a Dodge Charger that has a stored code p000b and p0016 for the variable valve timing control solenoid. Was able to activate rail valve timing control solenoid what scan tool and could hear it click.
So in this case I’m suspecting I slide it up solenoid valve or possible low and dirty oil. Before replacing any parts I would suggest changing oil and clearing codes to see if p000b and the p0016 go away.

Customer Concern: No power, runs rough and sets codes P0016 and P000B.
Average Reported Mileage: 129205
Tests/Procedures: 1. Check the Engine Oil quality and quantity.
Check the operation of the Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Oil Control Valve (OCV) with the actuator tests, then check the tip end for sludge build-up.
Check the engine for mechanical problems such as worn bearings, oil pump inlet, oil pump, etc.
6.0 Power Stroke hard start no start diagnostic. I could not believe what I found on this Ford 6.0l Powerstroke. Came in for a hard start and a cylinder misfire and what unfolded was nothing like I have seen.
In this video, I will be getting an overview of how to replace a fuel injector in a Ford 6.0 Powerstroke diesel engine.
I will give a rundown of all the tools needed in order to do the do the job along with all the parts you will need to replace a fuel injector on this Ford 6.0 liter.
Along with a couple tips you will need in order to remove the high-pressure fuel rail and some tips on installing a fuel injector along with the oil tube stand seals which should be replaced anytime you remove the high-pressure oil rail on these diesel engines.
Most common cause of a p0101 “Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit/Performance Malfunction”?
Code P0101 Definition
Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit/Performance Malfunction
Code P0101 Meaning
The mass air flow (MAF) sensor measures the amount of air entering the engine. Check engine light code P0101 is set when the measurement of air entering the engine by the mass air flow sensor is outside of the manufacturer’s specified range.
Symptoms
Engine stalling
Difficulty starting
Lack of power
Rough idle
Causes
Dirty, obstructed, or faulty mass air flow sensor
Damaged or disconnected air intake boot (snorkel)
Vacuum leak
Clogged or improperly installed the air filter
Clogged catalytic converter / restricted exhaust
And this video I’ll be going over how to find out why your window isn’t working in your car or your truck. Will be testing the window motor is south and also the windows switch. I pull the door panel off in this vehicle to be able to access the window motor and first attempt to tap on the motor to see if we can get it working again.
In a lot of cases just tapping on the window motor will get the window motor and regulator working again in a lot of cases if that’s what has failed. In this case, I did not help and we could hear the motor trying attempting to move in the up position but it would not do anything when we push the switch to the down position.
So we remove the connector at the window motor to test for power and ground and found it had power and ground going up but no power and ground going down. So we remove the window switch so we could test the switch and on this vehicle, they’re actually interchangeable from the driver side to the passenger side.
So we were able to swap switches to see if that was a problem and in this particular case the driver’s window switch was the reason the window would not go down.
Diagnose driver’s window not working. remove the driver’s door panel to gain access to Driver’s window motor. tested for power and ground and sound good power and ground going up but no power and going down. Indicated most likely a bad window switch.
Reassemble door panel and cold window switch out of center console area to test. and found that driver’s and passenger’s window switches were interchangeable so tried swapping and window function properly. Indicating the driver’s window switch will need to be replaced.
How to remove a broken oil dipstick tube that is broken off inside of the block. And this video I have over several methods and tricks that may help in the process of getting a broken oil dipstick tube out of the engine block. I’m working on a Chevy pickup truck with a 5.3 L engine.
This method also applies for Chevy trucks with a 6.0 liter. First I had to remove the inner Fender to gain access to the oil dipstick tube. Once I had the inner Fender and tire removed I was able to get the torch in there and heat up the block to try and help the O-ring on oil dipstick tube to make it easier to remove.
Then I proceeded by using a self-tapping screw to screw into the old dipstick tube. Only the first half came out so I was unable to find another self-tapping screw to pull the second half of the dipstick out. I had to move it back and forth inside the engine block several times before I was able to remove it due to rust buildup. If for some reason the old part of the oil dipstick does fall down in the oil pan it should not cause any issues but definitely should be removed if possible.
How to easily tell if the blower motor in your car is bad. this video will also show you how you can get your cars blower motor going again. If tapping on it does not work and your blower motor is not working on any speed you can just go under the dash below the glove box on most cars and unplug the 2 pin connection going to the blower motor to make sure you have 12volt with a multimeter or a test light and if you do that mean your blower motor is bad.
But in most cases just tapping on it can get it going again a lot of the timing. If it does then you know it will need to be replaced because the brushes in the motor are wearing out.
If you don’t change your spark plugs in your car’s engine and they start to rust, this could happen to you. If it does in this video you will hear what it sounds like if you spark plug gets blown out of its hole.
This video is a quick overview of how to remove the dash trim panel in a Ford F-150 or Ford F250 pickup truck. Will be removing the interior trim panel to gain access to the heater control head or the HVAC control head so we can replace it. They’re not very many special tools you need to do this job and it is relatively easy DIY repair.
On this Ford F-150 pickup truck and the customer was complaining of the blower motor randomly coming on and the customer could not shut the blower motor off. After testing at the back of the control head itself found blower motor output was always constant even with the blower motor controls turn down. Indicating the HVAC control head shorted internally. In this video, we replace the HVAC control head with a used unit and retested good.
