  1. Use some gaskasinch brushed on the belt and pulleys, let engine idle for 10 minutes or so, stops slipping almost every time, unless it’s just way too loose.

  2. Looked like a tube of rtv silicone. There is no fix other than replacing the belt, if it’s actually the belt causing the noise and not an accessory or bad tensioner

  3. And this is why I’ll never bring my car to a mechanic, you can have a trust what they do and how they perform their duties, it’s all about get the car in and get it the hell out as soon as possible, a real shop would have found out where the squeak was coming from whether it was a pulley or the belt and properly repaired it instead of being a hack low life

  4. DO NOT PAY ATTENTION to this FOOL!…He’s using Silicone…that will make your belt gummy & it could come off!…REPLACE THE BELT!! OP

  5. People spend more money on “tricks” and “quick fixes” and most the time if they just fixed it right, they’d actually spend less time and money.

  6. Exactly, I said the same thing! They are not even expensive. When it squeaks, it time to replace it or it’s gonna rip apart
