That is a good temporary fix but there are some states to pass emissions for state inspection that would be illegal and would fail inspection. And being that I’m in North Carolina it would fail here. Did you have to modify it,? drill it out with half inch bit so the sensor would fit?
@Flat Rate Mechanic yeah the expert garage said my cat was clogged. keep in mind my car had NO CODES. but it has this lack of power not wanting to get up and go… anyway the guy said i need a new cat. said it was clogged. he put on an aftermarket cat, and viola. a day cycle later it tosses the po420 code. scanner Danner says those impalas, 2008 chevy. need OEM cats. so my original issue is still there but now i have this cat code . ugh. another garage had my car a week. they had No solution.
